Account and Data Deletion
Version 1.4 · Last updated: August 31, 2026
You can delete your account and the associated data at any time.
Account deletion is irreversible. Once the process is complete, the album or its content cannot be restored.
How to delete your account
- In the app: Profile → "Delete account."
- Or by email: write to
[email protected]from the address linked to your account, and we will process the request.
How to delete individual data
You can delete individual Moments, captions, milestones, and uploaded photos directly in the app without deleting your account. Open the relevant Moment, use its actions menu, and choose Edit to remove an individual photo or Delete to remove the entire Moment. If you created a child's profile, you can delete that profile and its associated content from the profile settings.
For help deleting specific data without deleting your account, write to
[email protected] from the address linked to your account.
What is deleted
Your profile, the child's data (nickname and, where provided, sex and date of birth), uploaded photos, captions and milestones, and invitations created in your album.
When data disappears
- From active systems — without delay after the request is carried out.
- From backups — within the backup rotation cycle, after which it is gone permanently.
- Subscription end: if your subscription ends, your content will be retained for a limited grace period to allow you to reactivate your subscription or export your data. After this grace period, your content may be permanently deleted.
If you have a paid subscription
- Bought on the web: deleting your account also cancels your Creem subscription.
- Bought in the iOS or Android app: the current Lovements account-deletion flow does not submit an App Store or Google Play cancellation. Deleting your Lovements account therefore does not by itself stop renewal or future store charges. Before deleting the account, cancel through the store's customer subscription management — use Apple Subscriptions or, on iOS, Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions; on Android use Google Play subscriptions or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Keep your store receipt or order identifier if you may later need billing support. App Store refunds are decided by Apple; eligible Google Play cancellations or refunds may also be processed with Google developer tools under Google's policy, but account deletion does not trigger either action automatically.
Exceptions
We may keep certain data longer where required by applicable law (for example, to resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations).
